Adobe Updater Error

Issue: When you restart your computer, you get a pop up window saying that you need to restart the computer for the updates to take effect.

If you click YES, you will still get the window the next time windows starts up.

Solutions to the issue:

You have the choice to disable Adobe Updater:

1. Start>Run>msconfig

2. Untick apdproxy and AdobeUpdater on the Startup Tab

Or if you still want to use Adobe Updater, you can move everything from the folder

“C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Local\Adobe\Updater5″

to

“C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Local\Adobe\Updater5\old”.

When you run the updater after this, it should work.
