Issue: How to change the time out value for remote web workplace and owa
Affects: Remote Web Workplace (RWW)
Solutions to the issue:
When your users log into the RWW, the RWW logon screen has a checkbox that says, “I’m using a public or shared computer”. By default this box is checked. If they uncheck the box, the timeout will increase. By default the timeout for a public computer (that checkbox is checked) is 20 minutes where it is 2 hours for a private computer (uncheck the box).
These timeout values can also be changed in the registry if you would prefer a different timeout value. HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SmallBusinessServer\Remote UserPortal. The keys are PublicTimeOut and TrustedTimeOut.
